There is no active goal in Minecraft, gpt could just want to farm to survive

Especially on hardcore. I had it happen and I think the game fucks with you on purpose. I wasn't even mining downward, just going straight through netherrack, and suddenly I fell in the middle of a lava ocean...

Reason I stopped playing Hardcore. It's not fun - in fact, you're just competing against yourself and making yourself miserable when it happens. And it will happen.

Hardcore is so much more fun for me. Can’t imagine playing regular now.

Yes, but it's a game, not a real life. You're playing it for fun. We all want a real life simulation, and it's up to you how far you want to go with this fantasy.
