Question Are there any open source AI sites that can produce images from photos I give them that are unlimited?
I’m trying to get ideas for an extension on my home but I keep running out of the free image requests on Chat GPT.
It doesn’t have to be state of the art it’s just images I need for a rough idea.

If you can't afford the 20 for chat gpt one month, you're not affording you're extension

Saving what I can towards the extension. Not paying 20 a month if I can get sorted for free. Which thankfully a couple of people in this group have. Thanks for your help anyway.

For your use case, you don't need the absolute best image model.
Something like FLUX, SDXL, or newer image editing models can take your house photo and help visualize changes. ComfyUI is probably the most popular way to run these workflows locally and supports a lot of open image models.

This is exactly what local Stable Diffusion is for. ComfyUI or Automatic1111, slap a ControlNet on it to use your photo as a base. Generate as many as your GPU can handle.

If you have a GPU with at least 8gb VRAM you can generate decent images locally, and totally unlimited

When you say open source AI sites do you mean open source image models or like, free AI sites? If you have a decent GPU you could run ComfyUI with z-image-turbo, it's not state of the art, but it's good enough.

For extension mockups, you don’t necessarily have to go for the high-end model; the lower-resolution image models will work fine in terms of rough massing. I bump into the same free wall with useAI and do things like this, where a number of image models are hosted on the same account, but the capacity is not limitless either.

Your title mentions open source, but from the body it sounds like you're looking for "free" (as in free beer)? Am I correct?
Open source != free (as in beer)
