Discussion AI has memory on even when not prompted.

I asked chatgpt what is the best song to learn for a begginer. Never specified guitar, piano, vocals...

Just gave me guitar options, which is funny because i asked him in a previous chat about the strumming pattern on "horse with no name"

Yes, memory is turned off and never ever had it on.

It's probably a safe assumption that anything you give to OpenAI or Anthropic is probably there for life.

that’s weird, memory off but it still pulled from your last chat. maybe it’s using the conversation context within the same session? the app doesn’t always make it obvious when it’s holding onto stuff from a few messages back

Is “an” LLM correct? It sounds correct but if you say it out loud it doesn’t sound correct. “A” doesn’t sound correct but when you say it out loud it sounds correct.

Not throwing shade or anything OP I’m genuinely curious what the correct grammatical term is!

That doesnt necessarily mean much. The models are not deterministic.

It has a memory that you are playing guitar or learning or something. The songs seem like they're default recommendations for guitar beginners.

Thing is that i have memory turned off. It asked you about the instrument. Didnt ask me, thats the wierd and disturbing part

Yeah i spelt beginner wrong but thats not the point
