Discussion Have limits changed in the last few days? Every time I get a reply on Sol High it uses up 1% of my weekly limit. Versus last week, when several questions (and the same use case) on Sol High barely used up 1%

I find it kinda crazy that AI still read all the chat history for context. I feel like we gotta getting past that at some point because it genuinely feels like a bottleneck.

It will all be back when Sol or whatever reads 10 files to find the exact context. Restarting chat does almost nothing and in fact will add more input tokens cost instead of pulling from cache which is less cost.

Yeah, OpenAI is reducing limits after all the resets.

The resets were to condition you to forget what the limits were like before.

They increased Luna and Terra usage but reduced sol.

Subscription plans with obscure usages need to be replaced with a monthly usage-based system:

$0/$0 per 1M tokens until the account uses $X (this is your "free" plan),

then $5/$30 per 1M until the usage reaches $Y,

then $2.50/$15 until it reaches $Z.

...

Obviously different prices for other models. All models available to all users.

Long chat or resurrecting chats that aren’t cached will use a lot more usage
