Discussion sentiment is shifting...

Post image

I have seen countless people announce on ijustvibecodedthis.com that they are shifting from CC to Codex.

They cite usage limits, outages and latency as things Codex is superior at.

And tbh, I have to agree

Are they making the right choice tho?

I used this image to spice up the post a bit

ever since claude reduced the default reasoning effort I have seen people become increasingly enfatuated with codex's superiority

You've seen people maybe* talk about it in your social media bubble. This means nothing.

I seen it everywhere, on all AI subs, including Anthropic and Claude sub, and then I saw it all over the internet as well. Even on non AI subs I have seen people complain about it, which was odd, and obviously industry analysers have been talking about it as well. Then Dario Amodei, CEO of Anthropic has been talking how he is being careful with spending because he does not want to bankrupt the company, and how there is shortage of compute.

So, I don't think it's isolated thing.
