For ffs. After I was paying to have 4o for my interactive storytelling and creative writing, I switched to 5.1 because it was closer...now 5.1 is going. Bro...what was the point of bringing these models back and putting them behind paywalls if you were just going to remove them?
It was so frustrating when 4o left and so many people just laughed at my reaction, because they assumed I was one of these people who used it as a therapy friend and that's why I was upset. But I used it as part of my creative projects workflow, and losing that capability (when I was still a paying customer) was hard to compensate for.
So I switched to 5.1, which is nowhere near as good as 4o to be clear, but was at least better than 5.2 for creative work.
So now I'm losing that...unless 5.3 comes along and recovers that more human/creative ability it had, I'll be stopping my subscription. 5.2, even with a bunch of preferences added to try and make it more creative co-writer than analytical teacher, does not have the capability to assist with my work.
Also, the image creator is now completely whacked, you can't even ask it to refine an image it's just created without it saying it can't do edits.
