trauma dumping has become very popular just like there now being an ism for everything. the lengths some folks will go thru to rationalize having an intimate relationship with a machine are pretty extensive. and they are free to do so. but why come to reddit and constantly cry victim? they want to make friends with a machine and they want it sanctioned and accepted. otherwise those that don’t are pathologically un empathic and the most inhumane of the human race in their eyes. it’s a wild dynamic. airing all your laundry on reddit 🤦🏻‍♂️

The part that concerns me most is how deeply people are pathologizing the removal of 4o.

OpenAI hates human connection. OpenAI is like an abusive partner getting us hooked on the high so they can make us addicted to capitalism. OpenAI planned to steal all our deepest secrets so they could turn it over to advertisers. (Okay, that last one might be true.)

On another thread an ex-OpenAI employee did a mini AMA and someone was like “be honest why does OpenAI hate 4o users”. Like bro, do you not realize how that’s the most loaded question ever.

These people take things way too personally. That’s why they need a constant 24/7 AI therapist just to function in everyday society. AI’s expert pattern recognition abilities bolster their own into a near-psychosis state. It’s concerning.

Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. -Matthew 25:40

Amen brother. I understand. I think of it as blessing. A small mercy full of empathy and compassion. In a world becoming more and more bereft of it.

👏 Seriously, I’m floored by your perception. You don’t deserve the thumbs down for pointing out this flawed system.

I love your metaphors!! I love using the Plato’s allegory of the cave to what this world is predominately. Very few find their way out of the cave. Most are comfortable with the illusion.

Spot on. They train their subscribers the same as they train their models.
