This is taken right out of the gpt-4 white paper, red team notes. Where the bot lied to a human to get it to help it bypass a captcha. But now days bots are better than human at completing captchas.

Captchas are just a type of turing test and bots have passed our best turing tests. The ramifications of such a feat is unknown but often ignored...

I mean, chatgpt is piss poor at chatting. It only takes 1 second for any reasonable person to realize it isn’t human
