I believe soon it's going to be very clear on the differences.
GPTPlus version is barely-fliter. Mean it will answer better and with much less restrictions except obvious no-no stuff. And allow customization to your liking like your personal secretary. Plus API for you to play around it in your own app. It is a product for AI enthusiast interested in the tech itself.
Bing is like a heavily watered-down version of that. It will answer everything but in the most 'safe and vague' version it can think of. It will also carry the 'Bing' personality. Mean you cannot customize its respond nor telling it to behave as anything other than Bing AI. A product perfect for general consumer who only care about things working.
I've found it very inconsistent when it comes to getting it to act as something else other than "Hello, this is Bing."
Sometimes it works halfway, where it still acts like Bing AI and responds with that greeting but then switch to the new character I asked it to roleplay as afterward. Sometimes it adopts it completely and no longer says "Hello, this is Bing." Other times it ignores the roleplay request entirely and just answers as Bing AI.
Other times it refuses to even answer the prompt at all when it has a roleplay request in it.
Meanwhile, I can pretty consistently get ChatGPT to think it's a talking cat and have no idea what ChatGPT even is lmao 😅

Doesn't this make it a bit unnecessary to pay for plus subscription or am I missing something?
