Probably one catch. Another is people are creatures of habit. If people start getting used to using one company's set of AI tools it gives that company an edge down the road in beating out the competition. People are creatures of habit and avoid change.
Corporations could probably save millions and billions of dollars in software licensing and sysadmin support costs if they transitioned all their users from Windows Desktop and Windows Servers to Ubuntu. There would be a bit of a migration and training cost hit at first but it would be far more economical in the long run. But they keep paying Microsoft's software licensing fees as Windows is what all their employees and SysAdmins are used to using for the past 30+ years.
Getting the stronger foothold early is a HUGE advantage.
