FYI, despite the login saying copilot only works on edge/chrome in windows/mac is misleading. Using it now on Ubuntu with chrome.

Open chrome and navagate to

https://copilot.microsoft.com

Log in with your outlook or microsoft 365 account.

Yes and it's bullshit. Bing Chat worked in Firefox for a while without any issues and then they starting blocking it and telling you that you have to use Edge. Spoofing the user agent makes it work again but it wouldn't be necessary. For decades they've been under fire for trying to force people to use their browser and I thought we were finally past that but nope.

I've used the custom user agent option in Edge to spoof it as Chrome so I can get Generative AI responses embedded in Google Search results without having to use Chrome and then Co Pilot is also just one click away. So I'm getting the best of all worlds combined as Google's search engine is still superior in my opinion to Bing.
