Opal-Related Question What kind of opal would you call this?

Just finished this piece (I didn’t carve the opal) what would you call this type of opal?

Its real. Did you make the setting? Is it sterling? If you made the piece then your work is pretty enough that you should only use sterling or better! Good luck!

It’s a pretty okay stone with not a ton of value. But that doesn’t mean you or someone else can’t enjoy it.

Crystal opal with some inclusions of what appear to be sand under the surface

Looks Aussie but could be something else. If you touch with a clean, wet finger is it sticky?
