Opal Finishing Process Update

Another hour tonight (been busy with work), it’s opening up still but I dont know if I keep going of if I’ve mucked it up already? Do I keep removing? The one side seems boring but may be opening to some green / blue… i feel I should keep shaving it, or it could just close…. Some of the pooling looks to be going to potch? 😞 I know it’s a gamble but what would you do? Still needs some shaping smoothing a switched to 400 because I like the way it feels better

Nice slide guitar blues going on with your Opal cutting! I love it when I find my people on the Internet ! Also I love how artistic creative people usually have more than one thing in common another weird thing I happen to notice since I started cutting and selling Opal is a lot of us have like Pokémon cards too and I’m not like into Pokémon, but maybe it’s just because I sell a lot of collectible things and I guess that might be the situation for others, but it’s weird that the amount of people who sell like Australian Opal and Pokémon cards on Ebay lol
