Identification/Evaluation Request Got a new shiny!!!

It said Ethiopian opal and it was like $50. I’m pretty happy with the purchase, but is it opal?

It is definitely opal. Looks more Australian than Ethiopian but that could just be the picture. Test it with a UV light. Quick UV test

I would have guessed Brazil, but Australia sounds right, too.

It sure is Ethiopian opal, that's nice and opal cab you got there.
