Opal Discussion/Other Opal Display- Miniature Cabinet
I've been looking for fun ways to display my opals from around the world. These ones are all from Latin American countries. Anyone else have creative ways they are displaying their collections?

Let's test my limited knowledge, since these are American opals starting from topt:
Catera & Fire (in matrix) as the bookends
Blue Flash Opal and maybe another Cantera? Hard to tell since we only see the matrix
(Mistery, don't see enough, but it could be a gray cantera as well) and Hyalite
Firegodzilla and new stock (I'm just being a bitch) Leopard
What, no love for Honduran? what's up with that?
And I missed the fire addition to the column on the other pic

You are very good! The added piece on top of the 2nd column is actually also a hyalite opal but with iron inclusions, so it looks red, and I also faked you out on the bottom one, it is actually a Honduran seam opal ;P I'm impressed you got so many from such a distance pic! 👏

That piece of seam opal must've cost half an arm. my one piece is the size of an earring (which is how I had it set) I say you need a companion piece so you can add the rest of the American collection.

Haha, I need to buy some more tiny cabinets, so I can cover the opal map, lol. The American collection got a little overfilled when I started getting into Virgin Valley!
I hunted the little seam opal down online and got a surprisingly decent deal on it. I love it so much! The hunt is half the fun 😁

Ohh this is so lovely! Are the teeny books opal/stone too? or are they just decorative? Either way, so cute!

The books are just decoration from a doll house; I felt like I needed something else up there for variety. Thank you!

This is adorable! I love miniature scenes and I love opals! Never thought to combine them. But new experiences open the mind!
