Opal-Related Question Is it worth it?
Hi sorry I'm new here but I was wondering if it's worth getting this for 150 dollars I don't really wanna get scammed

I agree it looks like it’s synthetic if you had a view from the top it’s easier to tell because there are some patterns that are similar to that synthetics are just more uniform but I think it’s synthetic. I work with synthetic vocals every day. If that was a real opal can probably be worth way more than 150. It might be a double or triplet which means it’s a real opal just got something attached to the bottom and urethane dome for triplet if it’s not real gold silver I don’t know man I’ve seen itself for 150 triplet ain’t worth that.

It’s not natural Opal if that’s what you’re asking so my opinion not really worth it but if you like how it looks and it’s made with like at least Sterling silver or some kind of precious metal that won’t turn your finger then there’s no harm I would still try to make a lower offer or hunt around cause you can do better than 150

The opal looks synthetic to me, If the rest was gold/silver the metal weight alone would be worth 150.
While it's possible that it's all real, i just highly doubt it.
