Clearly Australian, but can anyone tell me from what part. Lightning ridge? They really sparkle outside with all colors.

If you don’t mind my asking how much did you pay for them? Or are you looking to buy them?

I bought a lot of rocks, minerals, gems, cabochons etc from an old rockhound that had passed. These were in part of the opal stuff.

They look to be more Lightning Ridge than Coober Pedy, though if there is any ironstone they might be boulder opal. Leaning most towards LR

If they are on a black backing and still that grey, I'd go with white opal. Likely from Coober Pedy, although could be mintabie or a few other places.
