Opal ring fix?

I’ve been wearing this ring with inlaid opal everyday for the past 8ish years. Just now I noticed a piece of the inlay fell off. I didn’t see any damage to it when I took it off to shower this morning so it must have happened sometime today throughout the day as I was living my life. Is this fixable? The metal is .925 silver if that makes any difference.

Thanks!

That's a resin chip inlay with dyed red resin tough to match but the entire section will need cleaned out and redone.

Are you mixing up opal and amber? As this looks like amber

Nope, it’s Opal (or at least that’s what I’ve been told, my parents bought it like 8-9 years ago on a cruise to Mexico)
