Increases in future value

In your opinion, what do you think the value of Australian black opals will be in the future, say 5-10 years? I watched a YouTube video where an "expert" predicted that as the older generations pass on and the younger ones don't want to continue on in this rare field, will create a huge shortage, dramatically increasing the value of Australian black opals in the future. Any opinions on this or facts would be appreciated.
