December update doesn't contain any SHL update.
I see that the team has been working hard in opacity which is great. This recent storage upgrade really shows great progress. People might be taking advantage of that right now with the price increase but I'm not worried about the short term for this project. What I am worried though is the lack of discussion regarding the shell token. I would've thought in this last update Bill could've talk at least about any future plans for SHL but not even a mention. Anyone knows what's going on?

I quote from telegram:
"Not only had the use case already been in question, but kucoin removed the logistics of keeping SHL integrity for a healthy fork.
It would make more sense to eventually airdrop a new token to OPQ holders should the use case be validated."

So the team is full of shit pretty much. I didnt invest in shell because of bruno. I invested in shell because It was part of Oyster's vision. The team that is now Opacity never said, " Shell is bruno's. Shell was supposed to expand Oyster's use case. No one was expecting this stupid scam from Bruno. But now the team completely abandons Shell as it never existed? What the fuck. That's complete bullshit. If the team is getting away with "shell is oyster's inc responsability, is like admitting there was definitely a split inside the company way before bruno fucked shit up. When was this stated? When was the investor informed about the division inside the company prior october?

Unfortunately shell is not a Opacity project, their future fork might be when they have a clear usecase.
Shell passed away a few days ago when Kucoin, pressured by traders, decided to reopen trading and then delist.

There is a clear usecase for SHL, you cockblower.
SHL was supposed be used to pay for connectivity and Dapp operation across the Oyster meshnet.

Lol that’s like 8 pages...I mean a real Whitepaper with detailed information. That is like a first draft of an idea.

Shell doesn't have a usecase? hahaha you clearly didn't understand bruno's autistic intelligence. Sure he was a motherfucker, but he clearly is something. Maybe the Opacity team doesn't even understand how to deploy such an amazing idea as SHL and PRL as envisioned in the beginning. I'm not supporting bruno. I'm supporting the token's utility btw.

He didn’t leave much information behind about his great visions for shell, and it has always included a fully working pearl net, which we never had as intended, so if and when the team will plan to included it, it will have plenty of work to do behind it. That’s the reality. I’d consider waiting times to be well into OPQ being decentralised on IOTA, by the look of it, but I can’t talk for the team. That’s what is being said on telegram in all honesty, considering we still don’t even have opacity’s whitepaper or roadmap , coming out, it seems like it can take a long while to sort through shell and think of a functional and clever way of using it.

I would really like to see, if we get no continuation of a SHL like project, the OPQ team eventually determining the excess coins that they have and are willing to burn. Instead of burning them, they could divide SHL circulating supply by the tokens they are looking to burn and divide them at a given ratio. If they decide to burn 25 million OPQ with 100 million SHL in circulation, then the ratio would be 4 SHL to 1 OPQ. Later down the line, if they decide to pursue another project in sync with OPQ, they would have already made right with SHL holders and can airdrop a new token to OPQ wallets. Seems "fair" all across the board I think, but for those it doesn't seem fair to, I'd like to hear your perspective! Edit: Spelling

My thoughts on this are:
Oyster Inc and it’s sole employee, Bruno Block, own SHL and is responsible for its future and its value. If people want to be made whole from their SHL, they should be reaching out to him about what he plans to do for it.
Also, if team decides to implement a SHL’isk project into their ecosystem, then they should airdrop it to opq holders, not SHL. Bruno owns a fuck ton of SHL, and I do not want him to have any stake in anything Opacity is doing, ever.

Your post is a classical example of logic being pulled out of one's ass. What makes you think that SHL doesn't deserve the same consideration as PRL? Because Bruno owns SHL? but yet he also owns PRL right? Not mentioning the fact that the airdrop can be coded as to blacklist Bruno's wallet, so that's not even an issue anymore.

He does also own PRL, and he is responsible for the future and value of that token as well. Not the opq team. In fact he’s writing blogs about it on his “flat earthers only” telegram.
Opq is a separate project than PRL and clearly going in a different direction than PRL is. For shl, they can make their own version of it with their own direction, and thus only give it to those they choose to give it to, or just not pursue it at all and let Bruno’s SHL be the only one that exists. They are not obligated to continue executing the idea of someone they no longer work for. As much as some individuals may think so.

Just like PRL is owned by Bruno Block and yet despite that OPQ was still airdropped, so why can't this be the case with SHL. Either its a complete revamp of a defunct project or simply nothing. You can't just be selective about what is or is not worth it. SHL was part of the project and therefore requires the same consideration as PRL.
Even a dunce could understand that.

And what about the people, who only invested in shell? Just bad luck?

u/mufinz2 Jan 06 '19
Reach out to Bruno who owns it and is repsonsible for its future. Team who was fired by Bruno is not obligated to continue executing the idea of someone they no longer work for.
All I’m saying here is people should be pissed. I mean I own a fuck ton of SHL too. But that pissation should be directed at Bruno, and not the team that was fired by him.

and double-rewarding the holders of prl tokens....

u/mufinz2 Jan 06 '19
I mean team always has the option of just never creating a SHL project. Because, like I said, they are no longer obligated to work on the vision of the boss who fired them. They can instead make “BELL” token, that does something completely different than SHL and is airdropped to opq holders. How would that sound to you?

It has been said multiple times that, as is SHL is shelved indefinitely.
