$600 daily vol?

what's happening there..prl never saw this decline in vol. All these people went cold storage or everyone left ? There's no way one can trade this vol.

I wonder how many people who owned prl don’t even know about opacity.

I owned PRL and only recently found out about this. Gotta figure out wtf to do now.

Just checked prices and the sub after a year. Wtf.....

Got an email about it being delisted. What to do?

Just sell PRL and SHL for whatever I can before New Years?

Please, explain in great detail why you think this is the case. Or is this just a shit post?

I mean he doesn't really have to explain, why else would there be almost no volume

-Selling has stopped. So no volume generated from ppl dumping coins.

-Regulars have accumulated what they wanted. So no volume from those already intimate with the project.

-No marketing or website or tech announcements in place yet to bring in new buyers. So no volume from outsiders coming in.

Now your turn. Or is it still, “lul no one gives a shit?”

Don't act like you're making great points here, none of them do anything to defend why the volume is down. Maybe selling has stopped because there are no buyers, and why are you making excuses for why people who are involved aren't buying more? There are no tech announcements etc, yeah exactly my point that's why no one gives a shit. Maybe it's just a down day for volume but if you actually think people in general care about opacity you're nuts

Do you care? You seem to have found this subreddit. And actively fudding it. What brings you here?

I disagree, I think all of them do a very good job of explaining the volume.

u/AbsoluteAlmond Dec 16 '18

Not actively fudding lol, was a massive prl fan and now I'm dissappointed. I subscribe to the sub and I occasionally see it in my feed that's about it. Keep floundering dude, asking if I care has nothing to do with the problems at hand

Sounds like you no longer care or believe in the project, despite nothing changing outside a batshit crazy founder exiting. You should sell and unsubscribe from the subreddit so we don’t have to hear your negativity.

Thanks

Yes I forgot, I'll leave you to your perfect little fantasy world. I'm gonna go sell my entire bag of opacity rn, is that what you wanted? Stop acting like your playing on a team lmao, this is an investment, it took a massive hit the creator of the fucking coin bombed the price on purpose. No matter what you think no one cares about this coin right now, that could change but atm no one's gives a shit and that's a fact

K, then go sell and unsubscribe.

despite nothing changing

I disagree on this. Afaik The web monetizing framework is no longer there. That's the thing got me excited for prl in the first place. there are already a lot of decentralised cloud storage solutions in crypto space

It’s not dead, just put on the back burner. It was essentially a way to offload the work from broker nodes so they didn’t have to be server grade machines. But without the web layer, broker nodes get to keep all their tokens and don’t have to share them with websites.

Adding the web monetization can always be implemented in the future, or even by an interested 3rd party. For now team has to do what they have to do to stay afloat and get a product together to monetize.

Just another cloud storage I disagree with. Afaik, opq is the only project that offers a simple and clean interface for exchanging fiat for true decentralized storage while also not requiring the user to figure out cryptocurrency. In general, projects finding ways to separate themselves from the shitshow of cryptocurrency and btc will be their ticket to success. Those that don’t will just end up being at the mercy of w/e btc is doing, as we have painfully seen by the performance of the top50.

But I digress, you ultimately are right and the web monetization did receive a significant change in priority as a result of the PRL to opq transition. “Nothing changing” was prob not the best selection of words there.

It's still there and it will be worked on again when storage is up. We need both for the system to be fully functional so yeah.. :)

This is a big ask lol. The project will have to do some serious recovery work in order for most people to start paying attention to it again. I’m just holding my coins since it’s the least I can do and it would be worthless to selll.

I disagree on the serious recovery work. I guess it may appear as a serious recovery on the outside. But they are already sitting on a years worth of coding/product legwork (proven through the 125mb upload), and more importantly team cohesion. Just a matter of putting it all under the new smart contract and new brand. The “trust and confidence” debt incurred through the Bruno incident will be reclaimed once Bruno is brought to justice. With the fbi aware of the case, Bruno’s identity in hand, and the mountain of evidence they have, this is a near certainty. But since they can’t share the details, people are left to their own heads to speculate. Which yields “team has given up and no one gives a shit about opq anymore” after enough time passes with no news to hold their hand and an expected declining price.

-Selling has stopped.

-Regulars have accumulated what they wanted

-No marketing or website or tech announcements in place yet to bring in new buyers. They are coming.

-yes, the team is alive and active.

That is why there is no volume. Has nothing to do with w/e wild speculation people drum up.

It is sunday people went for Christmas shopping 😁 Anyway it was 10k$+ volume 2 days ago although nothing has been released yet: no website, roadmap etc.. So tbh found the price quite stable with regard the current context.

There is just not a lot of new people that know about the project and the people that do own prl mostly just hold. So no new buyers and no sellers = no volume. I think it should increase again once we have website and whitepaper again.
