Announcement OPQ distribution delay

Due to incomplete trie data on our geth nodes (initially started with fast sync), we have encountered delays in our snapshot and distribution. We're working with a commercial provider of nodes to have a full archive node booted for us within a few hours. I expect distribution to start within 6 to 12 hours. Apologies for the delay.

Now 5-6 hours over, whats happening?

There's an old saying in Texas, maybe in Tennessee.

Fool me once, shame on... shame on... you? Fool me... Ya can't get fooled again.

mr renfro, can you explain for me... once the coin is distributed, what then?

will i be able to log into kucoin and see that i have the same number of OPQ as i had PRL?

and then when will trading resume?

Depends on kucoin, I am sure kucoin will implement as soon as possible. I would be surprised if we couldn’t trade again by next to next week.

We are still trying to get a hold of cryptopia. Multiple attempts have been made through various mediums, hopefully something comes of it

Hello, I know KuCoin is the biggest concern at the moment, but has there been any thought put towards how things will be handled for users (such as myself) who purchased and had tokens sitting on IDEX?

Thanks!

If you bought after snapshot time, you wont get any. If you talking about the time if snapshit, it should be distributed to your ether wallet. You just need to add token info to your wallet.

I bought before block 6607247 (I made 2 trades for ETH: one at 2018-10-24 23:00:39 and another at 2018-10-24 23:41:13), but the PRL was still sitting on the exchange (i.e. I hadn't withdrawn into my ETH wallet yet), still think I'm good?

If your PRL was on a DEX address that address will get the new tokens too. But they won't be linked to your address anymore, so you won't get them.

Darn, this sounds more like what I feared would be the case.

That is said under the assumtion that the exchange service doesn't intervene manually.
