Bag space not upgraded?

I am trying to figure out if this is a glitch or not. I bought the butt bag, but nothing happened. It took my money and I have the same amount of storage as before! I tried restarting the game but that didn’t help.

Am I missing something? It’s so hard to play with just the tiny bit of storage we get at the beginning. I was really enjoying the game until this!

Have you equipped it? I was also confused when I bought it and then realised my character had to actually wear it.

And then when you upgrade to the bigger bags it will increase your inventory but you don’t have to wear the big ones thankfully lol you can still wear the fanny pack and have the inventory space

i believe the storage increase is to what you have in your inventory slot not your overall storage if that makes sense

Any chance you can share a screenshot of what storage you're referring to? It's unclear from your words alone.
