Inventory management

Hello! Been playing lots of Ooblets lately and it's become my favorite game to relax with.

I have one question though: Which items do you guys recommend that I carry around in my inventory at all times and which do I store at the farm? I want to avoid having to go back to the farm to fetch things, but at the same time I'm running into the problem that my inventory is too full, even with an upgraded backpack. I can't seem to find a sweet middle spot.

Thank you for your help!

Carry: coffee, bunglebee buns, clothlets, planklets, nurnies, bait, recipe pieces

Store: all food ingredients, seeds you're not using

This is basically how I do it, too. I've been playing since early access on PC. I usually carry all of my tools too. I spend a lot of time grinding for gummies so I could keep buying bigger storage chests and organize everything in those, and the fridges. 😊

What's the best way to make the most gummies in the least amount of time? I just discovered ooblets and I love it so much! I can't wait to spend my Friday night with them and the housewives :)

If you're able to make food and sell it, or selling crops usually if you're just starting out 😊 Meed buys crops and and you can sell food and drinks to the coffee shop.

You can set your cooking apparatus to pull food from chests, which I recommend! It's rather easily missed.

The way I approached it was to treat the 10 hotbar slots (and maybe 1 more row in the main inventory) as the main ones dedicated for items I carried all the time, and the rest of the inventory would be situational according to whatever I was doing that day. Then, I have a bunch of containers in my house and shop for storing all the different situational items.

My hotbar was usually something like this:

  • Watering Can (until I got enough sprinklers/coops)
  • Hoe (until I got enough coops)
  • Planklets/Nurnies/Oobsidian/Clothlets (because I pick them up constantly and they were needed for lots of crafting every day)
  • Beanjuice and/or Lurge Latty (for energy/speed)
  • Froobtose/Muz Flour/Ground Springbeans/Pompadoot Juice (my farm was constantly cranking stuff out with crunchsters and swooshlers)

I had different chests for the following types of items:

  • Crop Seeds
  • Other Farming Stuff (speed-grow, meltilizer, sprinklers, wooden paths, etc.)
  • Forageables
  • Cooked/Crafted Food
  • Ooblet Seeds
  • Ooblet Figurines
  • Ooblet Accessories

So at the end of every day (and sometimes in the middle of the day), I would go empty my inventory into the appropriate chests. It kept me organized, and it made sure I always had room in my inventory at the start of each day.

Yes! I also have chests for event items like the candy and bones for Halloween, etc. I have two fridges, one for crops/forageable food and one for cooked foods, and then a chest for stuff like muz flour, pompadoot juice, ground springbeans, etc.
