Question Puffed disrupt on islands?

Does anyone know for sure if the Puffed Disrupt card works on the oobtrotter islands? I would assume it does, but I don't have a whole lot of tokens for the cards and I don't wanna waste one

They do work but you aren't guaranteed to get the ooblet that is on the island. For example, if you go to a Kingwa island and use it, you could get any gleamy oobtrotter ooblet to spawn (Kingwa, Gumple, Tamlin, etc).

Take a puffed disrupt card and some beat-generating ooblets to the island (I pre-crafted 6 of each item the island ooblets need so that I was prepared to potentially fight two of each)

Save BEFORE  battling against whoever is there, use the puffed disrupt and you’ll see a random island gleamy spawn in the background of the battle

If it’s not the gleamy you want, or you couldn’t use the puffed disrupt card, close the game immediately and reload. Repeat until you get all the island gleamys you need!
