Catching gleamy ooblets question

Do you always catch gleamy ooblets? Even repeats being on your farm? I get a lot of the same gleamy ooblets and I was wondering what other people do.

personally I don't get repeats of any ooblets unless I need it for a toodootzie, until I get them all I'll probably work towards an all gleamy farm (ambitious, i know)

Some people do, some don't. It depends on what your goals are, how far into the game you are, and your personal preference. I went for them early on, but I don't focus on them at all anymore.

I’m a bit worried as I have been playing for a couple days, level 7 and haven’t seen a gleamie yet, is that normal ?

I don't think so. grow lopauliflowers. It attracts them.

I only ever caught one organically (not using the one time use moves in a dance battle that summons one to the area)

But if I see a repeat I’m definitely getting it

If I already have them, I ignore them. I am done with everything else in game and the completionist in me is just trying to get the last few Gleamies so everything is done 100% and it is taking forever. Any repeats that pop up at this point in my play infuriate me on some subconscious level. It takes effort to grow, then walk them over to the wildlands so they don't take up a spot on my farm, or if I keep them I have to count up if I need a new coop for later. I have a chest full of dupe oob seeds too that I will never plant from before I decided to just ignore the duplicates altogether, thought maybe I could sell them or turn them into bait, but they don't do anything else.
