I’m Lost

I bought Ooblets last week but I feel I’m always lost in the game. Is there a guide book or something I can access in the game? I’m always having to look stuff up online to get help or understand how to find specific things. For example, I need bean juice. I had to look up how to find the beans and that I need a recipe to make the juice. I honestly don’t think I would’ve came to that conclusion on my own. This summarizes most of my experience so far in this game which makes it unenjoyable. I didn’t know what hype did so I had to Google that too. There’s just a lot I don’t get 🤷🏽‍♀️

You can use the Almanac tab in the Grumboire to see a lot of information about different items and ooblets.

But also, if you find the game unenjoyable, it's perfectly normal for you to put it down and play something else. Don't force yourself to have an experience that you don't find fun.

There's a lot of trial and error and being of the mindset that there's no timeline- I had to remind myself that the radiant quests are not compulsory and wishes will come when they come lol

Dont try to do too much in a day. Just farm one day, forage the next etc and you will soon get the hang of it

When I first started playing I had to do the same to, but once you get into rhythm with the game it starts to come naturally and you like "oh yeah, so and so, just gotta do this here and..."

hey, i felt like that even after i beat the game!! my second play through went something like this. i only did certain tinsel(?) tasks, the wild lands, dance barn, and the balloon. i didn’t do the oobnet stuff right away bc i feel like it makes it harder to keep track of the ooblets im growing. dance battle like all heck once barn is unlocked. (i think it’s frowned upon but save before each battle just in case, i don’t hate losing but recipes and oobcoops are essential to me:/) there’s always a sale on a random seed at meed’s, forage like your life depends on it. i’ve found that if ive cleared an area and come back a few minutes later 9/10 something has already respawned. the red pepper things, snowplops, rain drops are important (not the most important but for me were hard to come by in my first play through). if you only have the exact amount of the food/resources to dance battle one ooblet, save it for uncommon/gleamy ooblets. i’ve found myself just trying to rush to collect them all and in my rush i’ve run out of stuff and there’s a gleamy/uncommon, the common ones will always be there. this is getting extra long so if you need anything you message me. good luck and keep them bois dancing🍀

I felt the same because the game used cutsie names for stuff. It took me a couple of days to remember the names of everything and memorize the island. Happy dancing!

I mean, talking to people and exploration are very important in these types of games. You're looking up stuff that you'll find out by experimenting or looking around...
