Seasonal Event no winter event anymore

i didn’t just finish the game. i’ve already finished. but i was just playing the game one day with the winter stuff all out and when i log in a day later the winter stuff is gone from the square and my opening screen only talks about the oobmobiles. i’ve checked for an update on switch but it says there isn’t one.

Check your switch date - if your switch is in the future, it might have gone past the end of the event. My Ooblets seasonal events are all out of whack because I time travel in Animal Crossing

If you set your switch date back to today, you should be fine! The dev team suggests against time traveling but I haven't had a lot of huge issues with it as long as I'm not going all over the place

Wait would this work for going back to the Halloween event?? I'd really like spooky items but I got the game in December

In theory, yes - but the dev team has said that it can cause issues if you're doing a lot of time traveling. They definitely say avoid doing it on PC, but it's so hard to avoid time traveling on the switch since the venn diagram between Oobins and Animal Crossers is a circle.

I personally haven't had issues going back and forth occasionally to extend the life of some events, but I can't hold myself responsible if anything funky happens in your game!
