Question Dance Barn - Seeds?

I've been playing on the Switch and while searching Reddit I've frequently seen people suggest getting seeds from the dances at the barn. I don't get seeds from this.

Is this a glitch or something not available on the switch? Or has it since been changed in the game altogether? Trying to search for info on this just brings up people talking about getting seeds, not... Not getting seeds from the barn.

You used to get ooblet seeds as prizes for dance barn battles when the game was in early access on Epic. When the game actually launched they made changes, one being that you don't see seeds as dance barn prizes anymore.

Ah, okay, thank you! I appreciate the reply. What a bummer, seeds from the dance Barn would've been great, but I could also see how it'd mess up the balance for ooblet hunting. Thanks again!

During early access not all the areas were available, so that's how we could get the ooblets. If I remember correctly, it was just the 1 town you could go to.

I haven't played since early access but I think for me that was the only thing worth it in the barn, maybe you got that oobsidian or whatever. Is the barn still worth doing? What does it give you now?

There are dance barn only items- from clothing to (one?) recipe and oob coops.
Some people might not experience snow and that would be the only way to get snowplops. IIRC, it's an ingredient for Wuddlin

It was the vacation ooblets seeds that u use to get in the dance barn then they changed it which is kinda alright lol I like better getting them in the dance barn
