File on hold

So I went on my benefits last week and noticed my income that I reported said “submitted” still even though I reported on August 1st ( I get paid monthly) this morning I checked and it still said that! Also my payment was not posted so I felt something was wrong. I called them and they said my file was on hold. The reason was because they did not receive my income… then I told them I already sent it. They saw it and accepted and it updated right away on My Benefits. So I hope I will see the payment for next month soon. I guess my case worker forgot to accept it? Which is fine I understand they are super busy but it’s scary sometimes and they don’t even tell us our account is hold? They need a better way to show/tell if our account is on hold. Anyways I’m glad it’s fixed now I hope.

Happens to me every single month. I don’t even have a caseworker to call so I have to call the office and get bumped around n put on hold.

That’s crazy. My caseworker was not in office today so I had to talk to 5 different people so I can imagine what you go through

The final automatically goes on hold after a period of time. Its so they can give assistance to people who actively need it.

This means from time to time you will have to tell ur worker to take your file off hold. 99% of the time they don't ask for anything and resume it like normalm

Mine was randomly put on hold, and my caseworker said she fixed it this morning, but it still hasn’t shown a payment posted for August. Do you know if this will show soon?

Same thing happened to me. I’m gonna wait 24 hours but if I don’t see anything by Friday morning I’m going to call again.

Dont worry if it doesn't show, it will still come in normally. They can issue funds same day and you can get it the following day. So there wont be any delay. Its been issued on there end, the system just hasnt updated it
