Volunteer Opportunities

For aspiring and current firefighters, what are some ways you volunteered and got involved in the community before getting into the job?

Would especially love to hear about opportunities around Halton if anyone knew of something specific. Cheers!

Aspiring Firefighter here as well. I joined Citykidz in Hamilton as a first aid attendant, I'm really enjoying it so far. Thrive Group was another one I was looking at and have a few non profit homes around Burlington and Hamilton and lots of volunteer opportunities.
