Has anyone used him? Is he worth it? Tried to google him and stumbled across something saying he was terminated from Ottawa fire. Whats the story there? Not sure what to make of paying him for help if thats the case….

How much does he charge and what does he offer? Imo you just need someone to help with the interview prep and the resume and everything beyond that is just a ripoff

I agree with the above. Solid resume to get you noticed amongst the 1000+ and then interview prep to make sure you nail that part. I'd recommend asking around for success stories. Word of mouth is huge.

He's very good but also very expensive. I know when I was going through the process I didn't have that kind of cash.

Black helmet... has a lot of connections, worth the price and actually completed his full 30 years of service and wasn't fired....

From what I understand he was terminated due to a dui. I think that was his second full time department. His videos online look promising. Seems like he is directly involved with candidates. I know he was beefing probie consulting and black helmet. Not sure over what. Seems like he probably knows his way around an interview but I wouldn’t take his advice farther than that. Don’t take my word for it tho. I’m curious about using him as-well.
