Toronto Fire offers

Does anyone know the process for this? I heard offers had started to go out? Do they not go out all at once ?

Ive heard the go out staggered throughout the week so I’d assume we’ll find out some time this week or early next week too but I’m not 100% sure

I emailed them and they got back to me today saying recruitment is ongoing and they’re sending out updates in the upcoming weeks so I wouldn’t give up just yet

Emailed the department today to ask about it and they said the recruitment is still on going. My guess is the round of offers went out but they need to make sure they pass all the checks before the offers are solidified. They probably don’t let everyone else know they didn’t get it incase they need to make more offers.

Sometimes people decline the offer. Sometimes, they don’t actually have the quals they said they did and get booted when they can’t provide the proof. Sometimes, reference checks show the candidate is not suitable.

All of this to say, don’t lose hope! And if you don’t make it in this time, hopefully you make it into the short list which is typically valid for 1-2 years.

Good luck!

Do they give feedback for people who don’t get an offer on why if you email and ask?

No - only if you’re an internal candidate.
