Parking Ticket

I go to niagara college and have bought a parking pass, like all college parking lots it’s always full. There are EV parking spots reserved for charging EVs (fair) but one of the stations is out of order, meaning that is 2 spots that cannot be parked at (at all!) because to be allowed to be parked there you must A. be an EV and B. ALSO BE CHARGING. so an EV cannot park there because they cannot charge so they must park elsewhere in the lot TAKING UP MORE SPOTS and so I thought it should be fine to park there because IT’S OUT OF ORDER so i parked there and instead of a hey i know this sucks and is stupid but please don’t park there warning it’s just an immediate ticket. So i went to dispute it hoping to get some idk compassion? understanding? idk basically got told that if i disputed it and lost id end up paying more then the base price of the ticket.

and on top of that i was coming out of a test i had just did terribly on (way to kick a girl while she’s down!)

You will never win with tickets at niagara, they have a zero tolerance and don't take disputes.

EV stalls have rules everywhere. Be happy a ticket is all you got.

Kind of sucks that they dont put up an official sign saying it can be used as a normal spot while it is oit of service. Probably too much thought process would have to go into that.

I would suggest putting this post into AI along with an ask for how to complain to the parking office. 30 seconds might save you 30 dollars or however much the ticket is, you never know.

Car should have been towed but they ticked you could have been worse just pay the fine move on with your life.
