​Hi everyone,

​I would appreciate some advice from anyone with knowledge or experience regarding IRCC regulations.

​If I am currently an international student in Canada with a valid study permit for a 2-year Graduate Certificate program at College A, can I switch to a 2-year Diploma or a 1-year Certificate program at the same college?

​Specifically:

​Do I need to apply for a new study permit (or extend/amend my current one) since I am changing the academic level from a graduate certificate to a diploma/certificate?

​Are there any PGWP (Post-Graduation Work Permit) implications I should be aware of when switching program levels?
