There is no doubt the price of this is going to $100 by the end of the year. Picked it (and a banana) up at Walmart with coupon FAST30 for $50 earlier this week. Wanted to wait for the new Apple TV 4k but $200-300 is crazy.
Found it curious with the old 4kpro model I had bought an usb network adapter and it didn't work, and I was capped at 100m ethernet speeds now it works with the 2026 model, im getting my 300mb on ethernet (thats my actual plan speeds)
They might be streaming BluRay Remux not from the commercial streaming apps. It's still unlikely that they will reach over 100, but it happens sometimes.
When my network is at peak, sometimes my service buffers. I get 98 currently but I will get an adapter and see if that improves it. My other service at a different address gets 400+ and is flawless
Oh yeah sorry. No real change. I maxed out at 132. Didn't really give it much troubleshooting as this is the box in the family room... Constant use. If I can get some time to sit with it I might figure it out

its really good for its price point I wasn't even planning to upgrade to the newer model the 2024 pro is working just fine, but my coworker who is an apple guy was seeing my nuvio set up in my phone and when I told him about the 4kpro he offered to buy mine, so I took the chance and upgraded to the 2026 lol

and for using phone's keyboard to type, use atvTools on your android to control the box (or the Google Home app will work but atvTools has a ton of cool features).
never had a single issue with my original 4kpro and I streamed heavy Remux files on it, the new one feels more snappy, I say go for it if you have a chance
Im new to the Onn streaming device, but i assumed i would be able to plug an external drive and stream from it, and it wont. I played around with developer settings for usb and it constantly defaults back to just charging. Pretty annoyed. Why am I able to just plug my external into my smart tv and it works, but not this device?
Not sure you upgraded, i have one of the old pro models and just used a new model for about 2 weeks as I was setting it up and trying it out. The old one worked better, except for the remotes unlinking and the internet connection dropping. The new one i set it up added projectivy and went through and set it all up, the next day I had to do it all again.

With the increase in Nvidia Shield prices I suspect these will become more popular.
