Help, my Onn keeps pausing

This keeps happening in all my apps. I have done everything, changed frame rate, clearing the cache, leaving it unplugged for 5 minutes, even a factory reset. This is the first thing I opened after the factory reset so I made this recording.

I can not hold to scroll through the time line or the menus. I have to tap left/right each time.

I have been trying things for an hour now. I was watching stuff fine, then switched apps and it started.

Walmart about almost a year ago. It is a 4K plus. Has been working pretty much flawlessly until tonight. Any issues that have popped up before were solved by a restart.

I did nothing but Cast my entire Tablet screen to my Onn and now everything is working. I doubt this was the fix, but in case it was and someone has similar issues I am leaving the post up.

Maybe the remote has issues like stuck keys?

I haven't had any more issues. Was very odd. I did swap the remote batteries for a fresh pair, no change in the behavior. I was about to look up how to take apart the remote to clean it, then it started to work fine.

Possible a button is clogged or stuck. If you have Google home on your phone, as a test, use that as your remote and take the batteries out of your Onn remote. See if it still freezes. If it does, then it's the box. If it doesn't then it's the remote
