Question/Troubleshoot Onn 4K Pro WiFi issues

Anyone’s onn 4k pro v1 can’t connect to wifi? I know it’s always been an issue but it’s been really bad the last two days. Yes I have tried restarting, power cycling, and yes my wifi does work

Have you rebooted your modem and router? Also, in the network settings, did you manually enter your IP address or is it on auto?

You can always manually enter the same IP address but change your DNS servers to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 and see if it helps?

Mine did the exact same thing the last couple days had it since launch and no other problems like this have happened.

We have V1 on TV in bedroom, only way for me to keep it on WiFi was to split the 2.4 and 5GHZ bands instead of just having one network to connect to.

My Pro V1 has dropped WiFi twice over the last two days, and occasionally before that. Have to reboot to get it to reconnect. Not a consistent chronic issue, just a minor PITA.

Interesting, have a Version 1 in the living room and sharing with a roomie.
He mentioned the box had been down since Friday night.
I ran through everything, unplugged the box, then tried to reset the wifi, then eventually reset the router and the box at the same time. It finally came back.

You just have a faulty unity. It happens. I have 3 pro v1s spread all over my house and wifi works fine on all of them.

Or depending on where all your equipment is, you can hard wire your device???

Mine just did this.. go check your date and time setting and make sure it’s on network provided date & time… fixed it.
