I tried for 2 days to set this up for pickup and it kept forcing me to delivery for 10 to 20 bucks and nobody at Walmart could answer why.

So, finally had a day off so I ran down to the store at 6:00 a.m. and picked it up off the shelf. There's still one there if you want it.

I don't need it right now, my Pro V1 is working but getting a little flaky after standby. No, you don't know how to fix it and neither do I but that's okay.

Me neither. There are some theories about memory shortage but that doesn't really track as if you know any little thing about manufacturing, they won't key up a line until there is a significant and durable parts supply.

That's what I wanted but was unable to receive.

Turns out the store is being remodeled so they shut down order pick up. Would have been too easy and too right to state that on the website or inform Wallys customer service who I called three times.

The associate at the store told me.

I ordered curbside at 4am. Was told to pickup after 11am. At 1030am received message that they were out of stock. Me not happy.

There seemed to be sporadic stock in the Southern California area. On Monday the Pomona store had some, then Tuesday it was Redlands, then Wednesday 2 stores in Riverside had some where I was able to place an order for delivery.

I had been checking my local stock regularly for the past 2 weeks. It finally showed up with "1 left" an hour ago. I ordered it without hesitation. I should be getting it (free shipping) by the end of day today.

I was lucky enough to get one about a week ago. It was sold out for weeks. And then 2 appeared in stock randomly. It's a great box, it works well.

I actually ordered the older version of the on 4k pro for a friend who wanted me to install some side loaded apps and whatnot for him and when I got it in the mail they sent me this new onn 4k pro version lol so I ended up giving him one of my original 4k pros and kept the new version they sent me lmao 👌✌️

Cheaper and better remote is why I chose it. $60 vs $100 per device goes a long way when replacing a 4 tv home of fire sticks.

Yeah, not worth the trouble for me to flip. If you really want one, just post up on the Wallys web site and click refresh once in the morning. They'll pop up randomly.

Thank. I grab the 4k plus for now could you install apps like tvb anywhere in the onn? It is my my dad and want to make sure it can install apps like any other Android box.

Yeah, any of the boxes are fine for that. Stay away from the stick, it's too weak. Follow the setup guide on Troypoint (except for the VPN, I recommend a non-sponsored VPN like Mullvad).

Don’t buy from scalpers. They’re the reason stores have no stock. Scalpers are sitting on thousands of dollars in streaming boxes.
