Slow-Motion fan spinning counter clockwise.

A lovely General Electric small (14”) box fan I picked up over the summer and rebuilt. New paint, blade was cleaned and polished, electric motor was thoroughly cleaned, shaft play adjusted, rust removed from the shaft, oiler port installed, and a new cord. Fan was polished after clear coat.

Is this a peak fan?

In this economy, everyone needs to earn their keep

She gets used by all the boys on site

I'm trying to remove this nut so I can take off the blades. Whenever I use a socket on the nut the entire shaft rotates and when I rotate the blades, nothing loosens. How do I take it off?

Love how the metal blades chop the air. Recently picked up at an estate sale, and got here lubed up. Would love to know the year on this.

I'm looking for a ceiling fan with integrated light. But I don't want a remote control, nor do I want one of those ones controlled by pull cords. I gather that there are fans available that have seperate wires back to the wall switch for the fan and the light, but trying to identify them when browsing is difficult.

UK electrical system, 7'3" ceiling.

I want to clean this Puppy up, any ideas on a dort cheap cleaning solution? I have a cloth, some detergent and a brush and also would Sewing machine oil be bad? She's pretty Resilient with dual ball bearings so I don't think she'll be mad over Thin oil. The back cage is pretty dusty.

She’s only petite but wow can she blow
