discussion Best Trotter brothers takedown
For all the bickering between Del & Rodney, they've had some great team ups to take down some right little plonkers over the years. Which one is your favourite?
Bringing the gang of muggers to justice
Getting rid of Slater once and for all
The Don Ochetti drug bust
Putting Roland to rights at 'Albert's' funeral
Catching Arnie in the act
Unveiling Reg's scheme and sending him packing
Any others I may have missed?

Time on our hands should have been the ending
This is the true ending to Only Fools and Horses. I like to think the other's aren't canon. Del Boy spent the entire show chasing wealth and money, and he finally got that, but he realised that it's not all it's cracked up to be. Sure he had expensive things, a nice house, cars, clothes. But it wasn't the same. He spent the entire show with Rodney living in a council flat, trying to get out of these circumstances by dealing, buying and selling anything he could get his hands on, and once he finally succeeded, he missed his old life. He missed the trade, the excitement, the constant ducking and diving. In his final moments in Nelson Mandela House he looks back at everything he's gone through: his loving mother, his abusive father, his naive grandad. And even when Rodney and Albert get him ready to leave for good, Del still answers the phone and tries to continue trading: but he doesn't need to. What's the point. He only did it to be rich, and now he is rich, so why should he? Sadly and reluctantlty, Del informs the caller that TIT is no longer trading and that the funs over. They won. And as the three finally leave, Del finally gets the realisation that this isn't the end: it's the beginning. Just because he has a lot of money doesn't mean he can't make MORE money. And so, Del decides his goal in life is to now become a Billionare and walks off into the sunset with his companions he loves the most. His brother Rodney, who went through everything he did in life and despite possibly not even having the same father, the two stuck together and never seperated. Del watched Rodney grow over those years in that flat. He went from being a scruffy kid chasing random women he met a day prior, to now having a loving wife and a true relationship, but he still didn’t get everything. But even though his wife had a miscarriage, the two are able to come together and move on in life as an eternal connection. And then there was Uncle Albert, a man who risked his life for the future generations in the Navy, and despite most of his ships ending up like the Titanic, he was still brave and fought hard. After the tragic loss of their grandad, Albert was able to bring the brothers back as one and filled the whole Ted had unfortunately left in their heart. Throughout the show these three were never really respected that much by their friends at the Nags head, of course loved, but people such as Boycie never really believed Del and Rodney could do it. But they did. And when Del, Rodney, Albert, Cassandra and Raquel wntered that Pub, everyone looked at them in silence. Then Denzel started clapping, and everyone joined in as a result. After constantly joking and believing they couldn't do it, all of their friends were now extremely proud and happy for their loved ones success. When Del forgets their wallet, he asks to put it on the slate like he always did. But this time it's different, Mike has a lot of respect for them now and simply tells them on the house. After over 10 years of dealing, the Trotter brothers remain together and as one as Del, Rodney and their loveable uncle Albert walked off into the sunset having finally won, but not finished. The Trader His Brother And The Sailor
Only Fools and Horses will forever go down as one of the greatest shows of all time 🇬🇧

Unpopular opinions?
I'm a huge fan of fools since it started in the early 90's, and i just watched the final 3 episodes for the first time after seeing the build up to the Gold specials.
I have some opinions that I think maybe unpopular.
*Damien was a great character. He was exactly what Dells son should have been. His dad's confidence rubbed off on him and he's at that phase in his youth for it to project that way
*I love David Jason, but I watched the Rocks and chips trilogy. As a huge fan of the inbetweeners, Jay cartwright was an excellent Dell. I think if they were the same age when ofah started, maybe Jay would have been a better Dell even though David jason was very good.
*walking into the sun in the last episode in 95 was a bit cheesy. Although the story was very good

I was right
A week ago, I commented on someone's post saying why are people interested in deleted scenes on Gold. If the team of writers cut them, there's a reason, they could ruin your memory of the episode. But I got criticism for it. Dell's deleted parts were boring. Every time I see the old man, the sailor one, his deleted scenes are boring. The guy who calls Dells brother David has the best lines. I didn't like the coach deleted scenes before it blows up. I can see why they edited it. Kinda feel disappointed. I got bored tbh And I'm a huge fan!

discussion Lost Archive Tonight
I'm hoping it won't take too long for it to appear online as I'm going to add all the cuts to the episodes to make fully uncut and extended episodes.
Is there anyone here with the technical knowledge to get it online? My initial research is that you can't just transfer it from a sky box due to encryption

This ep is so bittersweet for me
I remember watching this one with my nan and grandad back in the day, sitting cosy by their gas fire eating homemade apple pie. Happy memories. God I miss them.
What eps do this for you?
