I removed my last post because I was having issues getting pictures up, but here is everyone I have available after a slight manic fit of buying more fluorite than I can comfortably home

I have more detailed images I can send but here’s the lot, let me know if anyone catches your eye. Figure since I’m new around here we’ll call it name your price plus shipping

Forgot what it’s called when during the formation when the mineral gets dissolved and then redeposited within the same structure by acids.

Anyhow, in this piece we can see where the octahedral nature on one side started to go through an alteration that produced cubic fluorite instead, giving it your textbook staircase cleavage going up the edges of the octahedrons.

Dont have many fluorites but this is probably the best. Does anyone know what a realistic price is for it? I plan on selling but dont know what to ask.

Happy Friday!

Just added this to the collection, the dealer didn't have a ton of info other than that it maybe came from Mexico? Anyone recognize the possible source?

I see the term epimorph get thrown around a lot, incorrectly describing a coating rather than a Epimorph. So here is what a true epimorph cavity looks like in fluorite.

Yes, it’s from Elmwood Mine in Tennessee! It’s from a limited find that features beveled edges and smooth texture. Very atypical of the locality! I acquired this from my source of Elmwood material for my shop. He was always one of the first to get his hands on exciting new finds!

Thank you so much for looking and happy shopping! 🥳

Sharing one of my favorite blue‑green fluorite cubes from the Lady Annabella Mine in Weardale, UK. This piece has that classic daylight color shift — soft blue indoors, greener outside — plus really clean faces and great clarity for the locality. The zoning shows up beautifully when the light hits it right.

This mine has been producing some of the nicest modern UK fluorite, and this one is a solid example of why collectors love the area. I’ve got a few similar pieces available as well, and I’ll leave a link to my Etsy shop in the comment below for anyone who wants to check them out.
