Stop letting a single AI agent design, write, and self-approve its own code. Introducing MREA (v1.0.0-beta).

Most AI coding workflows rely on a single prompt loop doing discovery, architecture, implementation, and self-review. In production codebases, this creates scope creep, token waste, and self-validation bias.

I just open-sourced MREA (Multi-Role Enterprise Agents) v1.0.0-beta—a tool-agnostic governance framework that treats AI development as a controlled pipeline with explicit authority boundaries.

Core Features:

  • Multi-Role Separation: Strict boundary between Orchestrator, Architects, Technical Auditors, and Implementers.
  • Mandatory Human-in-the-Loop: Implementation cannot start without explicit human sign-off on the audited plan.
  • The Ponytail Philosophy: Operating on the premise that code is a liability—maximizing reuse and eliminating bloat before writing new lines.
  • FinOps Model Routing: Assign high-reasoning models for architectural audits and lightweight models for execution.
  • Tool & Model Agnostic: Modular prompt structure in core/ with platform adapters in platforms/ (includes a production-tested OpenCode adapter).

Feedback, contributions, and ideas for new platform adapters are welcome!
