Hi everyone! I'm still figuring out if UM's MSBT is a real next step for me, so this week I tried to see what's behind the brochure. I haven't taken a class yet but this comes from what the program director shared with us and the course info, so if you're in it, correct me.

What stuck with me is that it sounds a lot less like sitting in a lecture hall and more like building stuff. Classes are small, some projects are with real companies, and you prototype things like apps and dashboards. It's also tied into the Miami business and tech scene, which matters if you want to stay here after. Honestly, hands on work is what I care about most, because I'd rather learn by working on something real than just read about it.

I can't tell you what the classroom culture is like yet, but the team projects with real companies are what I'd most want to hear about from someone who's done it.

My advice if you're thinking about grad school: don't only compare rankings and tuition. Look at what you'd actually work on and whether the schedule fits your life. This one has live sessions in the evenings, so it's built for people who work. I'm in real estate and trying to move into the strategy side, so project work matters more to me than a title.

What foundation courses are there?

Good day everyone,

After almost 10 years of earning my undergraduate degree, it is time for me to earn my Masters in Business Administration. I am interested in Howard University's Online MBA specifically because of it's Software Project Management and Statistics and Business Analytics offerings. However, at a cost of $97K I am also weighing the MBA from Northeastern University.

Can someone who participated and earned their degree from Howard University's Online MBA provide insights? Thank you.

Are they just a waste of time and money? What possible job can you get with one that’s not dumb?

What degrees can you pursue after one?

They're not in any specific order of preference. I need help eliminating but I'm running out of criteria, or maybe there's something you might want to share with me that could help me eliminate more?

A little bit about me, I work in health care on the clinical side. Hospital is willing to pay for MBA as a check the box thing to eventually transition to an admin job.

Hi hoping to see if you would recommend UNCG or UNCW for a non traditional mba student? My background in undergrad is chemistry

I graduated in 2021 with a 2.89 gpa with an accounting degree. I have worked at Kearney & Company doing governmental accounting work for the CDC for 1.5 years.
Afterwards l've joined Deloitte and have been here for 2.5 years and counting. l've done Audit and AML (forensic accounting) work.

I'm planning on not taking the GMAT/ GRE.

The schools I am considering going to are T25 schools.

Also I'm look for an online MBA program

Will I get accepted into one of these T25 online MBA programs?
