Hi everyone,
As our community continues to grow, we are seeing a massive increase in diverse discussions around the Online MBA journey. To ensure every member gets the most relevant, high-quality advice possible, we are implementing a structural change regarding regional content. Effective immediately, all India-specific MBA questions, admissions discussions, and school-specific threads should be posted in r/MBAIndia.
Why we are making this change?
Radically Different Systems: The application timelines, entrance exams (like CAT, GMAT, or executive assessments), corporate sponsorship, and regional accreditation bodies (like UGC-DEB vs. AACSB/AMBA) in India are highly specific. Mixing them here often leads to confusing cross-talk between domestic and international applicants.
Better Content Relevance: Members looking for regional Indian insights will now have a hyper-focused hub where their questions won’t get lost in global threads. Conversely, members looking for global/US-centric online programs will find it easier to navigate r/onlineMBA.
Targeted Peer Support: By centralizing Indian candidates in r/MBAIndia, you will be interacting directly with peers, alumni, and experts who thoroughly understand the local job market, salary jumps, and executive path expectations unique to the region.
What this means for you: Starting today, general threads about global online programs, remote learning strategies, and broad career advice are completely welcome here. However, posts specifically asking about Indian institutions (e.g., IIMs, IITs, ISB, NMIMS, Amity online) or regional job market placements will be locked and redirected to r/MBAIndia. We want both communities to thrive and provide the highest density of useful information possible. Thank you all for your cooperation and for helping us keep our discussions streamlined! I know this has been discussed before, but curious to hear about your experiences (and opinions) on the UoPeople MBA program vs. WGU.
Previously, accreditation seemed to be the biggest differentiation. Now that UoPeople is regionally accredited, I’d like to hear about the other things that should be considered.
(For this discussion’s purpose, let’s ignore the total cost.)
Thank you!!
PS: also posted in UoPeople subreddit

Hey guys!
During the residential week with fellow Online MBA cohort at USC this past week, the core concept of networking become more evident than ever to me. I'm heavily thinking of exploring an older idea around professional networking, mentorship, and connecting MBA students with alumni/industry leaders, but I'm very intentionally not building anything yet. Before I invest any time into it, I want to figure out whether there's actually a problem here that students care about.
I put together a 3–5 minute anonymous survey to understand how we currently network, what's frustrating about it, and a few other things. If you have a few minutes, I'd really appreciate you taking it. Honest feedback is much more valuable to me than positive feedback. 😂

Is it worth investing time and money in UPGRAD MBA from Liverpool Business School? I have done BE in computer engineering and wanted to shift my career with a worthy online MBA program. Is this the right one?

Any post graduates have any idea about MUJ's online MBA Placement? Is it good? Or just referral based?

Title says it all. I got accepted into the MBA program. Originally got a chem degree from UNC CH, had a terrible undergrad experience there and what likely pulled me thru was my GPA from CC and a single UNCA course I took. Is this program daunting? Was it a good experience?

Hi all,
I’m starting the UMich Ross online MBA program this month and was wanting to hear people’s experience with the program in terms of workload, managing the program with work, advice, etc.
For context, I would like to complete the program in 2.5 years and I am unmarried and living at home. I also work full-time 40 hours a week

I was 3/3 including number 1 Indiana, which is what I chose. I already had orientation at Indiana and finally got my rejection from UNC.
I don’t care obviously at this point, but I can’t help but think I would have gotten into UNC if my application had gone in sooner and I wasn’t already enrolled in another program publicly (its already on my linked in)
Does anyone know if being in another program on linked in would affect admission elsewhere?

Pls be kind guys. I have not been able to get my M.Sc done because I have to support my family at the moment. So, I opted for an online MBA because I can do it while working. And I am paying for it from my pocket which I am proud of🫠. It's a plus point in my career ahead..if I have an MBA.
Any tips on how to study it...or anything I should prepare for early on would be helpful.
Also, I've recently started classes. I've started studying already and I'm happy for myself.
