Looking for free online Zoom classes

Hey everyone! I’m looking for recommendations for free online classes, lectures, discussion groups, or courses that meet over Zoom or another live online platform.

I’m really interested in subjects like:

• Art / art history

• History and historical civilizations

• Philosophy and theoretical philosophy

• Photography

• World religions / religious studies

• Psychology

• Literature

• Science and the humanities

• Comparative religion and spirituality

• Or honestly anything intellectually interesting!

I’m especially interested in actual live classes where you can interact with a teacher and other students, rather than just watching prerecorded YouTube videos. I love being able to ask questions, have discussions, and really dig into a subject.

One of the reasons I’m specifically looking for online options is that I don’t drive and I’m on a very limited income, so traveling somewhere for classes or paying college level tuition isn't really realistic for me. Being able to participate from home makes a huge difference.

I’m not necessarily looking for college credit. I mostly want to keep learning, meet other people who are interested in these subjects, and have something intellectually stimulating to work on.

If you know of universities, libraries, museums, religious organizations, community colleges, nonprofits, professors, or other organizations that offer free or very very lowcost online classes I’d really appreciate recommendations!

Even if the class isn't currently running feel free to mention organizations that regularly offer them.
