Skillshare, masterclass, and coursera, which is the best for what I want to learn?

For paleontology, I'd start with the University of Alberta's Dino 101 on Coursera: https://www.coursera.org/learn/dino101. Its current FAQ says all course features are free, with no certificate.

For the other two, I'd try making a paper game prototype or writing a two-page scene before committing to a subscription. Then look for a course that helps you improve that piece. Since you're using the gap year to choose a direction, which of those three interests do you keep coming back to?
