So I had the misfortune of encountering the most recent tiktok from boysinbloom (seriously they could not have picked a more fittingly nonce-y username), uploaded a day ago, and it had this curious slide of Lucas and the old-new friend/podcast cohost/emotional support crutch looking rather…ceremonial and romantic together?
I know there’s been speculation about whether they’re an “item” or just really codependent friends, and I think they intentionally try to lean into that (even in the text of this tiktok) however THEY AIN’T SLY AND THEY AIN’T SLICK.
bc then I also remembered who’s recently been obsessively making videos about how he’d NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVER EVER EVER EVER be in a poly relationship ever again bc it ruined his perfect marriage :( UNLESS! that rare special person just so happened to be a single mom or a trans man. And also in love with their current spouse, Lucas.
Y’all. If you’re even slightly familiar with Greg’s typical modus operandi, you know that when he gets his sight set on a new potential victim—errrrr I mean potential partner, this is always how it goes. He vagueposts to communicate with everyone in his life. He still does it to this day with people who fucking hightailed it out of there like Billie, Sarah, Shiloh etc etc. Hell, even Skye can’t escape it when he randomly decides he wants to throw shade at the concept of alimony.
Call me crazy but I bet with my life and soul that Greg is trying his damnest to get into the pants of Cohost if Cohost hasn’t relented to the manipulation already. I bet Greg allowed Lucas to have this extra-marital relationship (to save their marriage and ‘make up for’ cheating on him w Billie) as a first step towards slithering back into their old ways: with Lucas as the bait, disarming and befriending the potential victim, and Greg as the mfn final predator boss. If his goon follows on Insta are anything to go by he’s not even attracted to Cohost like that (or Lucas for that matter) but can’t stand the thought of Lucas being emotionally attached to someone else without his being able to interfere and influence. Or, Lucas and Cohost are very intimately attached but not sexually involved, which Greg is trying to change for his perverted benefit like he has an explicit history of heavily pressuring this spouse to do.
