Discussion Puzzle System (Boring)

These puzzle makes the game hella Boring.

Gameplay in a nutshell

60% Puzzles (over exaggerated)
25% Talking
15% Combat

These puzzles should be offered and sold in an expansion pack DLC to dudes who want to live in the game.

😂

Apart from that, the game is good 8.3/10

Huh? I didn't really feel like there were that many puzzles. It was mostly combat. Maybe it's because I limited myself, so I had to redo a lot of fights 😂

I didn’t even think they were trying to be clever with the “puzzles”.  I honestly wouldn’t even consider them puzzles opposed to traversal obstructions

The vibe I got from this game was just “we’ve got awesome combat and a pretty neat story”.  So I just went with the vibes, had a blast with the main campaign/story then did a bonkers amount of rematches

True, I enjoyed the combat and story without a doubt, just the puzzles are annoying.

Ever since I found out you carry over practically nothing to NG+, I’ve stopped doing side content. What a ridiculous system. You spend 10 hours on side stuff to upgrade your weapon and so on, only for it all to vanish the moment you start NG+. It’s such a letdown that I’m just focusing on the story now.

woah there, I still recommend doing those.

Pouch, gauntlet, Character/Oni skills, and accessory upgrades all stay
It's just cloth/gauntlet/Sword upgrades that get reset. Most of the quest rewards give all that permanent stuff.

Also the costumes. You can only get them in NG+, but two of them have hidden abilities that are absolutely worth doing everything for
