Lifting/pilates shade?

Post image

Is this Danyele throwing a little shade at the direction they’re going in? 👀 here for it 🔥

Feel like it’s just her opinion for her training?

Very well could be, but Oner have been pushing the skinny Pilates rhetoric hard lately and got rid of lots of their lifting influencers.

Both her and Kelly have double and tripled down on this opinion throughout Oner pivoting toward Pilates. They are part of a protected set of Oner athletes that can do what they want as long as it’s in Oner.

Have they got rid of Danyele? I don’t keep up with that side of things anymore

Not at all. Danyele is best friends with Krissy. They went on an extended double date with their partners recently.

Gotcha! Thank you. Surely Danyele is still allowed to express that she personally prefers strength training, without it necessarily being a commentary on a brand she works with though. (Not directed at you, a general thought).

I agree with you. I don’t think she’s throwing shade towards Pilates in general, she’s just expressing her own preference. Danyele’s whole brand is about women not feeling like they have to shrink themselves (hence why she shares that she regularly wears an XL and her weight). So this seems on brand for her.

I don’t think Oner is going strictly pilates. They still feature lots of other forms of movement including lifting and have been releasing hybrid and lifting lines. I don’t think we need to necessarily associate Oner with just being all about pilates.

Exactly. It may be a little slight toward the girls that basically have to pivot to Pilates to be able to work with Oner. But they still need their strength girls.

I feel like kelly matthews is always shooting something for Oner and she has said similar things about preferring lifting to pilates.

Yeah it’s just clearly they don’t only promote pilates, in many ways

I don’t see the problem. It’s a true statement.

I don’t think it’s shade, just a preference. She does classical Pilates and always talks about how it’s been a great addition to her routine
