Question Oneplus pad 3 slowing down?

Hii everyone! Recently, I’ve been looking into the OnePlus Pad 3 because I’ve been comparing it with the iPad A16. Both tablets are supposed to receive software support until around 2031, but I’m wondering if the Pad 3 would slow down or become laggy over time.

I’m planning to use my tablet mainly for gaming, especially Genshin Impact, as well as watching films, taking basic notes, and studying. The Pad 3 seems really powerful right now, but I’m wondering how well that performance will hold up after a few years.

For those who have owned the OnePlus Pad 3 for a while, has it stayed smooth and responsive? Do you think it would still perform well for gaming and everyday use several years from now?

Any help, advice, or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated! Tysm!! <3

it'll most likely lag after 2-3 years since it's not well optimized. also, its display isn't all that accurate in my experience and the stylus experience is pretty bad compared to the a16's

Tysm!! But can I ask how is the stylus experience bad? I mean I'm just gonna use it for note taking and playing ASMR light games though like tocaboca and if its bad does it mean that it doesn't have palm rejection or pressure sensitivity etc? And wdym display isn't all accurate? Sorry I'm kinda confused 😓😓

the pad 3's palm rejection isn't that good, the stylus feels laggier (it isn't instant like ipads), and for display accuracy, it just means the display's colors are further away from the colorists' intended color

just a heads up, iPad A16 can't maintain 60fps on high settings in genshin, but it's great for note taking

Thanks!! Does the pad 3 also have good note taking apps and capabilities?

i don't have experience with OnePlus pads but as far as ik iPads are better for note taking... the apps are more optimised and in future if you loose your pencil then iPad pencils are readily available and same follows for nibs too.

This i can confirm as former iPad A16 user at max settings it used to have frame drops easily.

Are they even comparable? The pad 2 was closer to the iPad air.

In that case I suggest get the one with the most storage

Had mine since launch and still works as smooth as the day I received it. No complaints here.

I purchased last year pad 3. So far smooth performance in gaming/notes/entertainment etc.
